  Absolutely hands down the worst treatment I've ever received. She was 3 hours late to my prenatal and her first question was "where is your husband" after I told her I was not with anyone and indeed alone for the appt. she didn't go over any of my meds and when I complained of UTI symptoms she told me it was probably just a yeast infection and to take monistat. I told her I already had been taking that medication and it wasn't working; instead of doing an in office urinalysis or validating my symptoms she rushed me out without answering any questions. I continued to call and never got a call back and a week or two later I continued to call about my routine lab work done at quest and when she finally answered and decided to check on my labs she told me to go to the ER. Turns out I was right I had a UTI and it spread to my kidneys. I almost lost my left kidney as well as the baby. If I had not continued to call and beg for medical attention and advice I would have been in worse shape. I have been in the hospital for 3 days/nights now and I will be here for a while longer. She was extremely dismissive of me - I'm not sure if it's because I look younger than I am or if it's because I was alone. I was extremely polite as I usually am even under the bad treatment. I'm 24, educated and kind and yet I am now in terrible shape because of her dismissive and rude demeanor as well as the incompetence towards my illness and symptoms. I have read many reviews saying she had been prejudice and racist towards white islanders and people that were not Spanish or African American. I did not even think of that nor did I want to even believe it but now I'm wondering if it is true or if she is just a mean woman lacking true compassion- however she seemed to treat other patients with completely different care. I've never been so angry with a medical professional! It's one thing to put me at risk but putting my unborn child at risk is completely disgusting behavior for an OB.
